Seller Terms

Overview

As fellow domain investors, we know that selling your domain names is key to having a profitable business. We have created a platform for you to list your domain names and have the Plenty of Brands team go to work for you.

Creating traffic and attention to your name and outreach to potential clients are two of the top ways to find a great client who matches well with your name and make a sale. You get both of these when listing with Plenty of Brands. Additionally, you will receive a logo graphic to use along with your domain name listing provided by our staff designer. (You will have the option to approve or deny the logo provided. If you deny the provided logo, you will be able to submit your own logo provided it meets the brand standards and size specifications for the Plenty of Brands Marketplace.)

Becoming a seller is easy. As an Seller on the Plenty of Brands Marketplace, there is a responsibility to both us and buyers of your domain names. Please review these Seller Terms carefully.

These terms for sellers (‘Seller Terms’) apply specifically to sellers on the Plenty of Brands Marketplace. Prior to moving for you, you need to agree to them before becoming a seller. These terms govern the relationships, rights and obligations of sellers to us and buyers using the Plenty of Brands Marketplace. By creating a listing on the Plenty of Brands Marketplace, you agree to put your domain names on our Marketplace and make them available to buyers on the basis stated in the Terms of Use and these Seller Terms.

When we say ‘you’ in these Seller Terms we are referring to you, the seller. All other words defined or explained in the Terms of Use have the same meaning here. If there’s any inconsistency between what we say in these Seller Terms and what is in the Terms of Use, what we say in these Seller Terms prevails.

Please continue reading for additional information about your responsibilities as a seller, the process of selling your domain names on the Plenty of Brands Marketplace and how you can earn money as a Plenty of Brands seller.

Becoming a Seller

In order to become a seller on the Plenty of Brands Marketplace, your name should be submitted to the Plenty of Brands review team for approval prior to your domain name listing going live on our Marketplace. This ensures that we house top-tier, brandable domain names for our clients to review and choose from. Once your domain name has been submitted and approved, there is a $10 one-time fee until your domain sells for listing on our Marketplace or until you request to remove your listing from plentyofbrands.com

Additionally, there are a few things you promise in exchange for the right to be a seller, which are outlined in the below Seller Terms.

Seller Terms

Process to become a seller: There are easy steps you follow to sign up as an seller, which are outlined on our How to Sell Your Domains on Plenty of Brands page. There you’ll find instructions and resources that will help you get started. You can then register for a seller account.

How Selling Your Domains Works

Transfer of ownership: When you sell a domain name, you’re making your domain name available to buyers to purchase for a one-time payment, and full rights and ownership of the domain name will be transferred from you to the buyer.

Exclusivity: When you become a seller, you are electing to make your domain names available exclusively on the Plenty of Brands Marketplace, and will remove any listings for your domain names elsewhere.

Your earnings; marketplace fee: When your domain name is sold on our Marketplace, you will earn the sale price less a marketplace fee of 20% that we charge. The platform fee can change at our discretion, from time to time. Any changes to the rate will take effect on and from the date on which notice of the variation is posted by us on our Marketplace.

Prices of domain names: We know how valuable your assets are to you and so we endeavor to make the sale price of your domain names fair and in line with the going market rate. We have control over the suggested prices for your domain names, and you are allowed to raise or lower the visible sale price of your names by 15% at any time. The listing price will be a value that you and the Plenty Of Brands team agree upon.

Approval of Submitted Domain Names

The Plenty of Brands Marketplace is intended to house top-tier, brandable domain names. In order to protect the integrity of the marketplace, we have final say on whether submitted domain names are accepted for the Marketplace.
